I am pleased to announce that Dr. Scott Slough has been selected as the new Co-Chair of the Science Education SIG here at SITE. Scott has a history of being active in both ASTE (Association of Science Teacher Educators) and SITE.
Scott is an Associate Professor of Science Education at….
Texas A&M University. Scott is interested in the integration of technology in math and science teaching and learning, the change process associated with the implementation of technology, Progect-Based Learning, and recently, the development of cutting-edge technology enhanced geosceince curricula.
Scott has been active as member and presenter at SITE meetings since 1996. Scott is also an active member of ASTE. He is currently the President of the Southwest Region.
Scott looks forward to serving as member of the SITE Teacher Education Council and the Leadership council and continuing to finds ways to strengthen the links between SITE and ASTE.
